of Kettering, formerly of Coshocton, OH, died unexpectedly Friday, August 13, 2004, at Kettering Medical Center. He was born September 27, 1936, in Coshocton, Ohio. James was the son of the late James Bardon and Lois Isabelle Patton. He was a graduate of Coshocton High School in 1954 and Wilmington College in 1958. James was a member of Sigma Zeta Fraternity and Alpha Phi Gamma Journalism Fraternity. He served in the United States Navy Reserves. James was employed by E.F. McDonald Company for over 13 years from 1962-1975. He was owner and president of Bardon Inc. Realtors for 32 years. James was a member of Dayton Area Board of Realtors. Preceded in death by son, Stephen J. Bardon. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. James E. (Linda) Bardon of Kettering, OH; three children, James E. Bardon Jr. and his wife, Donna L. and daughter, Mary E., Kevin M. Bardon and his wife, Donna K., Diana K. (Bardon) Kanyuch and husband, Jeffery D. James Edward Bardon, Sr., Husband, Father, Grandfather and Community Professional Business Leader was loved and will be missed greatly. His generous spirit, dedication, motivation, and endless sense of humor will be remembered fondly by all. Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering. Burial at Prairie Chapel Cemetery in Coshocton, Ohio. Family will receive friends from 5-8:00 PM, Tuesday at the funeral home.
