DAVIS, James E., age 78 of Centerville, OH passed away Saturday, Nov. 1, 2008 in Centerville, OH. James was born December 23, 1929 in Dayton, Ohio. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. James retired after 25 years of service with General Motors Truck and Bus. He also owned and operated a barber shop on Rosemont Blvd. and barbered at Normandy Square Barbers in CentervilleThank you, Christie. James was a member of the American Legion Post # 165 for 27 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Jo Ann Davis and two sons, Glenn Davis of Richmond, KY and Gary Davis of Centerville, OH. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Friday, Nov. 7, 2008 at the Routsong Funeral Home, 81 N. Main Street, Centerville, Ohio with Rev. Harvey Smith officiating. The family will receive friends from 11 AM on Friday until time of service. Special thanks to Judy and Ashley for their loving care for our husband and father during his stay at Wood Glen Nursing Home.
