TAYLOR, James E., age 81, of Kettering passed away Sunday, December 31, 2006 at Heartland of Centerville. James served in the United States Navy during WWII. He worked at WPAFB as a Photographic Engineer in Research and Development for 38 years, was a member of the Society of Photographic Scientist and Engineers and Dor-Wood Optimists. James was preceded in death by his parents, Carey and Margaret Taylor and son, Richard; brothers and sister, George A, John, Lawrence, Mildred, Charles, Ralph and Thomas Dale Taylor. He is survived by his loving wife, Dorothy M. Taylor; children, Tari (Dick) Page and their children, Jennifer (Rob) McGowan, Richard Page and Deann Cedarman daughter-in-law, Karen Taylor, Steven (Nancy) Taylor and their children, Jenna and Zachary, Mary Kay (Jon) Scheaf and their children, Daniel and David; brother, Donald Taylor; and sister, Margaret Grace Taylor. Memorial services will be at 11:00 AM, Saturday, February 3, 2007 at the Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering with Chaplain Bobbie Predmore officiating. Family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Heartland of Centerville Activities Department, 1001 E.
