James Edward Davis

DAVIS, James Edward, 82, passed away on Friday, December 28, 2007 at his residence after a lengthy illness. Jim was born in Lima, OH on January 10, 1925 and resided in Centerville. He worked as a sales associate for Rike’s Department Store at the Dayton Mall for over 20 years and the Dayton Malleable Iron Co. Jim was preceded by his wife of 61 years, Marjorie L. Davis. He is survived by his sons; Michael R. Davis of Daytona Beach, Florida, Mark E. Davis of Dayton, Ohio, devoted daughter- in- law and special caregiver, Kelly S. Davis; grandson, Joshua E. Davis; granddaughter, Tonya M. Corns and her spouse, Stephen L. Corns and great-grandchildren, Justin and Natalie (Smiley) Corns. All services are private.
