James Edward Otte

OTTE, James Edward, age 65, of Centerville, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at home. Jim was born on December 1, 1950 in Celina, OH. He was a graduate of the University of Dayton and worked as a cost analyst for the Department of Defense. He was preceded in death by his father, Albert Otte and brother-in-law, David Campbell. James is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Carol A (nee Bailey) Otte; sons, Zachary (Jessica) and Nicholas (Erin) Otte; grandchildren, Anna, Paige, Reese, and Perry; mother, Lenore Otte; sisters, Judy (Tedd) Short, Janet Campbell, Sylvia (Dave) Lehman, and Annette (Tom) Kremer; and brother, Jerry (Peg) Otte. The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the staff at Kettering Cancer and Blood Specialists for their exceptional care over the past year. Family will greet friends from 5:00pm-8:00pm on Monday, March 28, 2016 at Routsong Funeral Home, 81 N. Main Street Centerville, OH. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30am on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at Church of the Incarnation, 7415 Far Hills Ave. Centerville, OH.
