James David Ellis, beloved husband, brother, and friend, passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of warmth and camaraderie. Born on July 26, 1952, in Dayton, Ohio, James was the cherished son of Chester and Doris Ellis, who preceded him in death.
In 1980, James wed the love of his life, Judy Frederick, and for 44 joyful years, they shared a bond that exemplified true partnership and devotion. James was known for his vibrant spirit and his love for socializing, bringing laughter and vitality to every gathering. He found great joy in watching old western movies, often reminiscing about the characters and stories.
James is survived by his devoted wife, Judy Ellis, and his sister, Barbara Malick. He is also remembered fondly by his nephews, Ron and Scott Frederick, Niece, Ann Bowling, and many friends and family who were touched by his kindness and infectious smile.
The family will hold visitation at Routsong Funeral Home Kettering Chapel on Saturday, April 5, 2025, from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM, followed by a brief prayer service at 11:30 AM. Friends and loved ones are invited to join in honoring James's remarkable life and celebrating the love he shared with all.
