James F. Satteson

SATTESON, James F., “Jim” age 86, of Kettering passed away Thursday, August, 31, 2006 at his residence. Jim attended Kent State University and served in the United States Navy during WWII. He was involved with research and development at Wright Patterson Air Force Base and retired from Goodyear/Loral as District Manager where he was awarded business man of the year. Jim was a member of Walnut Grover Country Club, and active in NSIA (National Security Industrial Association). He was an avid golfer achieving 2 holes in one. Jim also enjoyed pool, reading books, collecting coins and stamps and was an early bird riser. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Patricia A. Satteson; and son, Jim Noble Satteson of Beavercreek. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, September 5, 2006 at the Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering with Minister Jamie Leighty officiating. Burial in David’s Cemetery. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
