James K. Whelan

WHELAN, James K. “Jim”, age 65, of Huber Heights, passed away Thursday, February 22, 2007. He retired from the Navy after serving 25 years of service. Jim also retired from Heidelberg Printing Press. Preceded in death by his sister, Stella Dunn. Survived by his parents; Charles and Ella Dunn of Miamisburg; his wife of 3 years, Linda; daughters and sons-in-law, Suzie (Fred) Jaisle, of Miamisburg, Kelly (Gene) McNew, of Connersville, IN, Tracy (DJ) Scott, of Middleburg, FL; sons and daughters-in-law, James K. (Becky) Whelan, of Fullerton, CA and Jodie (Suzanne) Rife, NC; eleven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; special niece, Christy Kautz, of Miamisburg, OH; one brother; one sister, Sharon Kennedy, mother of Kelly, Tracy and James. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon, Wednesday, February 28, 2007 at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering with Dr. Rev. Brooks Heck officiating. Burial in Miami Valley Memory Gardens. Family will receive friends from 10-12:00 noon at the funeral home.
