James M. Stickel

STICKEL, James “Jim” Michael., age 70, passed away at home on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 surrounded by his loving wife, children and grandchildren. He was born on March 16, 1948 in Dayton, OH to the late Elmer Joseph and Eileen Lenore (Johnson) Stickel. Jim was a member St. Charles and owned his own painting business for 40 years. He loved all kinds of music, traveling the world including Australia, China, and France, golfing and most of all, spoiling his kids and grandchildren.

Jim was survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Judy; children, Joe (Lea), Mike (Karen), Maria (Doug) Van Dyke and Jessica (Kevin) Ziegler; Opa’s grandchildren: Zack, Jacob, Cami, Lydia, Ava, Jackson, Sabrina and Henry James.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00pm on Monday, December 3, 2018 at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering, OH with a reception to follow at the funeral home. Jim was loved by many family members and friends.
