BELL, James Michael "Mike", age 61 of Dayton, passed away on Friday, October 7, 2011 at The Hospice of Dayton. Formerly of Brookville, Ohio, Mike attended Stivers High School and worked as a truck driver for 30 years. Mike loved his travels and just being out on the highway. He raced cars for many years at local tracks with his cousin Dick Dunlevy, Jr. and enjoyed riding his Harley with friends. Mike was an avid softball player as well as a certified Umpire for high school softball and baseball, a passion he shared with his son Clint.
Preceded in death by his parents, James and Pauline Bell. Mike is survived by his son, Clint Bell; daughter, Alicia Raleigh and her husband Darryl; sisters, Vanessa (Chris) Bell-Mantz and Betty (Calvin) Naylor; brothers, Herb and John Bell; former wife, Karen Bell; niece, Christan (William) Heidenreich; and his very special, great-nephew Little William Heidenreich.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, October 14, 2011 at 5:00PM at Chris's Band Box, 3001 E. Third St., Dayton.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt Thank You to all the care givers at Hospice of Dayton, especially Tina Brewer.
