James Thomas Dickey, Jr.

DICKEY, James Thomas, Jr., age 95 of Washington Twp., died on Sunday, May 23, 2010. James was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.T. Dickey, Sr., of St. Louis, Mo.; his wife Geraldine Braun Dickey; sisters Mrs. Eleanor Johnson and Kathryn Nolen; brother Harlan M. Dickey. He is survived by is his son James T. (Diana) Dickey III; daughters Deborah Sigg and Martha (David) DeLorenzo; five grandchildren, Ian Kirk, James T. Dickey IV, Gwyneth, Rachael and David Andrew Dickey. James was a graduate of Soldan High School of St. Louis, MO. and the University of Michigan in 1940. He served as a Captain in the United States Army Air Corp. for 5 years during WWII. James was employed by the National Cash Reg. Co. for 33 years and retired from there in 1973. He was then employed by Monarch Marking Company for 10 years and retired from there in 1982. James was an inactive member of the Riverview Masonic Lodge and an active member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church for 40 years serving 2 times on the Board of Elders.
