James Thomas Emmons, Jr. "Tom" of Lebanon, Ohio and Venice, Florida passed away peacefully at Tidewell Hospice in Florida on February 3, 2017.
Born on February 7, 1938 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Ruth E. (Strosnider) and James T. Emmons, he was a 1959 graduate of the University of Cincinnati School of Pharmacy.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Elizabeth Kay Skoff Emmons; his brother-in-law, Rudy M. Skoff (Peggy) and son David of Cincinnati and many dear friends.
He was a pilot, skier and scuba diver; an avid gardener, gourmet cook and consummate bread baker; his true love was sailinghe wished to be cremated with his ashes dispersed at sea.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Farley Funeral Home in Venice, Florida and the Routsong Funeral Home in Kettering are handling the arrangements.
