Jane Eleanor Edmonson

EDMONSON, Jane, age 97, of Kettering , passed away December 5 , 2010, at her current residence, One Lincoln Park, with her family by her side. Born in 1912 in Dayton , Jane lived in Dayton all of her life and was preceded in death by her loving husband of 65 years, Roger. She is survived by a son, Dr. Alan Edmonson and his wife, Pattie, and a daughter, Doris Martin. Jane is also survived by five grandchildren: Alesa, Steven, David Edmonson; Brad and Philip Martin and seven great-grandchildren: Daniel, Megan, Jack, Alex, Oliver, Lindsay, and Clive. Jane was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who spent much of her life as a homemaker, happy to take care of family and friends. She was a 54-year member of the P.E.O. Sisterhood and active in Oakwood school and community activities in years past. She was especially grateful during the last ten years for Keitha, Carol, and Debbie, who helped make her life so pleasant.
