Jane Frances Mccoy

McCoy, Jane Frances (nee Doorley), age 84, of Kettering, passed away Monday, October 25, 2010. During WWII, Jane was part of the “Rosie the Riveter” group of working women who helped the war effort by manufacturing war supplies. She also was a member of the Dayton Catholic Women’s Club, the Women’s Auxiliary of the American Legion Post 598. She was employed for over 30 yrs. at the University of Dayton. Jane is preceded in death by her husband Denver McCoy; sister Mary Alice Youngs, brother-in-law Richard Youngs, sister-in-law Mary Rita Doorley. She is survived by brothers Jerry (Jeanette) Doorley of Columbus, OH and Mark Doorley of Lima, OH; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Thursday, October 28, 2010 from 5:00-8:00PM at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering. Mass of Christian burial will be held Friday, October 29 at 10:30AM at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 4500 Ackerman Blvd, Kettering. Interment will be at David’s Cemetery.
