Laumann, Jane C. (Draugelis), age 92, of Centerville, OH, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 20, 2025, surrounded by her family. Jane was born on March 11, 1933 in Hamilton, OH to the late Donald and Mary Cisle. She graduated from Hamilton High School where she met her first love, William “Buzz” Draugelis, later marrying in 1959. The couple then settled in Centerville, where they raised their 5 children as members of Incarnation Catholic Parish. Jane and Buzz worked at their family pharmacy, Dooley’s, for many years alongside their children. Following Buzz’s passing in 1991, through an Incarnation connection, Jane met and later married Robert “Bob” Laumann Sr. They spent many years together and loved traveling the world. They were winter residents of Naples, FL, and visited by many family and friends over the years. They both loved entertaining and hosted many fun and sometimes extravagant dinner parties. Her funny sense of humor, generous sensibilities, and zest for life will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is preceded in death by her parents; father of her children, William “Buzz” Draugelis; second husband, Robert “Bob” Laumann; siblings, Donald (Marion) Cisle and Patricia “Patty” (Joel) Lehmkuhl; and son-in-law, John Knauer; and granddaughter, Molly Draugelis.
Jane is survived by her children, Mary (Jim) Dusseau, Kathy (Mike) Witt, Patty (John) Duerr, Bill Draugelis, and Peter (Emily) Draugelis; step-children, Beth (Dave) Striebel, Rob (Connie) Laumann, and Barb (Pete) Haley. Jane “Mamie” was the proud grandmother of 23 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren, who will cherish the time she spent with them doing puzzles, playing card games, wrapping Christmas presents, attending sporting activities, going out to lunch and back to school shopping.
