Janet Delores Smith

SMITH, Janet D., �Dode� age 74, of Centerville passed away Wednesday, June 13, 2007 at Kettering Medical Center. Dode was a graduate of Wilbur Wright High School. Her love and passion for family and their times together were her most cherished moments. Dode gave support and was the mother to many friends. She always had an open door for anyone in need and was loved by everyone who knew her. Dode enjoyed writing poetry, drawing, and spending time with those she loved. Dode was preceded in death by her husband, Robert �Smitty� in 1980. She is survived by her daughters, Cindy Singleton of Dayton and Lea Stickel of Bellbrook; sons-in-law Joe Stickel and Ronnie Trent; 3 grandchildren, Josh, Naomi and Zack; 3 great-grandchildren, Kayla, Emma and Eva; and her sister. Memorial services will be held Monday, June 18, 2007 at 11:00 AM at the Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering with Rev. Harvey Smith officiating. Burial in Willowview Cemetery, Dayton.
