Janet Elaine Birmingham

BIRMINGHAM, Jan (Mullenix) of Centerville, Ohio passed away peacefully at home on November 26, 2012 at the age of 79. Survivors include daughter Darci Birmingham, sister Peggy (Joe) Goubeaux, brother-in-law Mel Conner, and many nieces and nephews. Jan was preceded in death by her parents Jim and Blanche Mullenix and sister Shirley Conner. Jan graduated from Greenville High School in Ohio, and served in the U.S. Navy. She received her Master's degree in Social Work, ran a successful business in vocational rehabilitation, and volunteered for leadership roles in numerous civic organizations. Jan enjoyed travelling & entertaining friends she's known through the years and most recently those in the Red Hat Society. Join us for a celebration of Jan's life on Sunday, December 2nd from 2:00-4:00 pm at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 East Stroop Road, Kettering Ohio 45429 (937-293-4137). Service starts at 2:30 pm.
