Janet L. Mccaffrey

McCAFFREY, Janet L, Age 76, of Riverside, passed away at Hospice of Dayton on July 11, 2015. Janet was born in Toledo, Ohio. She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Clara Mae (Palen) Donohue, and siblings, Doris (Richard) Heban, John Donohue, Thomas Donohue, and Patricia (Edward) Morgan. Janet leaves her family and a circle of beloved friends. Her family includes her lifetime companion and husband of 57 years, Richard McCaffrey (Riverside); son, Richard (Lisa) McCaffrey, Jr. of Kettering; daughter, Julie McCaffrey of Xenia; brother, Michael (Patty) Donohue of Maumee; sister, Carol (Jack) Bower of Genoa; three grandchildren, Jessica McCaffrey, Hayley (Jamey) Dailey and Elijah Redman; five great-grandchildren, Breanna, James, Jayda, Aeriana, and Isabella and many nieces and nephews. Janet and Richard were the owners of McCaffrey Jewelers in downtown Dayton 1972 2000. Janet was a Wright State University Anatomical Gift Program Donor. Janet will forever be remembered for her sense of humor and adventure. A memorial gathering will be held at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd.
