Janet T. Schaum

SCHAUM, Janet T., age 86, of Kettering, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, April 3, 2017. She was born on April 10, 1930 in Troy, OH to Harley and Madelene (Cox) Thompson. Janet graduated from Troy High School in 1948 and worked at WPAFB for over 27 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, and stillborn daughters, Stephanie and Melissa. Janet is survived by her daughters, Libby (Jim) Stamas and Laura (Rob) Leininger; grandchildren, Chris Stamas, Andy (Kimberly) Stamas, Eric (Rachel) Leininger, and Emily (KC) Roberts; great-grandchildren, Kallan, Landon, Matthew, Caleb, and baby Roberts due September 2017; and cousin, Jim Cox. The family will greet friends from 12:00-1:00pm on Friday, April 7, 2017 at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering with a funeral service beginning at 1:00pm.
