Janice Marie (nee McBeath) Glynn, Age 59, passed away Saturday, September 8, 2018. She is preceded in death by her brother James McBeath, Jr., father James W. McBeath, Sr., and mother Louise C. (Bahnmuller) McBeath. Janice was born July 18, 1959 in Queens, New York.
She earned her BA, as well as her MBA and MPA, from the University of Miami, Florida. Janice loved cooking with and for her family, appreciated fine art, and enjoyed spending summer days by the pool. A long-time University of Dayton employee, Janice was most recently a consultant and executive leader for the Dayton-area ARTery artists consortium. Janice recently made her 50th lifetime blood donation.
She will be dearly missed by her loving husband of 35 years, James K. Glynn, daughters Catherine E. (Ryan) Kleshinski and Caroline G. (Blaine) Neal and son Michael R. Glynn. She is also survived by her sister Susan Hutcheson, brother Ryan McBeath, several nieces and nephews, and many cousins, all of whom she loved to host during family reunions.
The family will hold a private service and interment at Woodland Cemetery, Dayton. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Dayton Artemis Center (www.artemiscenter.org) or National Alliance on Mental Illness (www.nami.org).
