Janice L. Stanze

STANZE, Janice L., age 79, of Miamisburg, passed away on Thursday, April 2, 2015. Janice was born to the late Elmer E. and Henrietta D. (nee Brunsman) Kistler on October 27, 1935 in Dayton, OH. She graduated from Fairmont High School in 1953. Janice retired as a bookkeeper from Kistler's Fraternal Gifts and was a member of First Church of Christ Scientist of Centerville. She is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph John Stanze and step-son, Joseph Robert Stanze. Janice is survived by her daughters, Julie (Kerry) Crosthwaite of Miamisburg, OH, Jenny (Rodney) Knott of Miamisburg, OH, Jodi (Tom) Riffe of Fort Collins, CO, and Janie (Craig) Blair of Miamisburg, OH; step-daughters, Vicki Roetting of Tampa, FL and Rebecca (Lee) Huff of Cincinnati, OH; step-sons, A.J. (Barbara) Stanze of Mt. Dora, FL, and Robert (Connie) Stanze of Murfreesboro, TN; 15 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; a sister, Amy Catrine of Centerville; and several nieces and nephews. Family will greet friends from 5:00-8:00pm on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering. A funeral service will be held at 10:00am on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 also at the funeral home. Janice will be laid to rest at David's Cemetery.
