Jason Anthony Redder

REDDER, Jason Anthony, age 43, of Xenia, left his pain behind on a sunny Sunday afternoon, December 6, 2015. Sadly, he left so many behind to grieve and miss him: His life partner, Kelli Sprowls, and the daughter of his heart, Meagan Sprowls; father, Craig (Debbie) Redder; mom, Cynthia (Jim) Combs; sisters, Emily (Scott) Redder-Preston, Jenny (Kirk) Christenson, and Shannon (Chris) Rose; and brother David (Hollie) Kleen. He'll be so missed by aunts, uncles, cousins, his 15 nieces and nephews, his dogs, and his lifelong friends. They call him kind, loving, smart, funny, sarcastic, witty, a good friend "like a brother to all of us." He graduated in 1990 from Oakwood High School, attended Muskingham College (Kappa Sigma), and graduated from Wright State University. Food service became a career, and he managed several restaurants, including the Upper Krust. He loved literature, sports (go Reds!), and somewhere along the way he became the "ultimate Michigan fan." We thank God for giving us the gift of Jason. As a child he once said "Jesus taps me on the shoulder and tells me when to go to bed." We pray this tap was as gentle as then. The family will greet friends from 6:00-8:00pm on Friday, December 11, 2015 at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering. A funeral service will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, December 12, 2015 at St. John's Lutheran Church, 141 S Ludlow St. Burial in Miami Valley Memory Gardens. Please, instead of flowers, make a donation to the National Psoriasis Foundation (psoriasis.org) in Jason's name. It would please him to still be helping others.
