Jean Alice Fitzwater

FITZWATER, Jean A., age 85 of Dayton passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2009 at Heartland of Centerville. Jean was born on January 12, 1924 in Dayton, Ohio to the late, Andrew and Emma Walton. She retired from the United Color Press after 35 years of service. Jean was preceded in death by her husband, John Fitzwater; son, Russell Coovert; grandson, Lary Coovert; sister, Joann Swigart and brother, Louis Walton. She is survived by her son, Danny (Glenda) Coovert; sisters, Dixie Tirey and Wilma (Vernon) Swigert; brother, Donald Walton; granddaughter, Kelly Coovert; grandsons, Terry and Timothy Coovert; great-granddaughters, Sofia, Morgan and Emma Coovert; great-grandsons, Zachery, Matt, Kyle and Jordan Coovert; 3 great-great grandchildren and best friend, Lloyd E. Penwell and his children, Carol Smith and Phillip (Barbara) Penwell. No services. Burial in Dayton National Cemetery. Arrangements made by Routsong Funeral Home.
