MARGETTS, Jean Sumner 93, passed away on September 24, at her home in Bloomington, MN. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert F. Margetts to whom she was married for 50 years, and by three brothers and two sisters. She is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law: Barbara and Bill Brown of Bloomington; Beverly and Carl Windsor of Forest Park, VA; Betty J. and Syl Cocuzza of Galion, OH. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews, two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Wm. R. (Eve) Sumner and Mrs. Ralph P. (Karen) Sumner, and two dear friends, Mrs. Frank (Mildred) Sutton and Mrs. Richard (Sue) Williamson. Jean was a dedicated Christian. She was raised in the Presbyterian Church and later became a founding member of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church congregation in Kettering OH, where she served as church secretary for fourteen years. She taught Sunday School for fifty years. She loved to sew and cook for the family, and was a devoted wife and mother. As a loving friend and empathetic listener, she was a blessing to all who knew her. Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday September 30, 2008, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church 901 E. Stroop Rd. Kettering, OH with a meal immediately following. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Graveside services will follow at Glen Haven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to First Lutheran Church, 127 S. Columbus Street, Galion, OH. 44833. Condolences and other remembrances may be sent to www.routsong.com.
