Jeanette Hays

HAYS, Jeanette, age 85, of Dayton, passed away Wednesday, November 26, 2003. She was a 60 year member of Grace United Methodist Church and a member of the Dayton Women’s Club, Dayton Country Club, UM Circle Club, Progressive Mother’s Club and Oakwood AFS. Preceded in death by her husband of 23 years, William H. Hays and her first husband, Gregory C. Karas for 34 years; two brothers and one sister. Survived by her daughter, Cynthia J. “Cindy” Karas of Rochester Hills, MI; son, Gregory C. Karas Jr. of Dayton; grandson, Gregory C. Karas III of Dayton; three sisters-in-law; several nieces and nephews; grand nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday at Woodland Mausoleum, 118 Woodland Ave., Dayton with Rev. Bryan Palmer-Smith officiating. Entombment in Woodland Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Jeanette’s name may be made to Grace United Methodist Church, 1001 Harvard Blvd., Dayton, OH 45406.
