Jessamine E. Wilson

WILSON, Jessamine E., (nee Trumbo) age 94, of Centerville passed away Friday, May 26, 2006 at Kettering Medical Center. Jessamine attended Olive Branch School (Tecumseh), graduating in 1929. She attended Cedarville College and Dayton Teacher’s College, graduating in 1933. Jessamine married Roscoe Wilson on June 28, 1934 and was widowed on August 8, 1956. She continued Wilson Concrete Products, which she and her husband, Roscoe Wilson had founded in 1946. She was president of Wilson Concrete Products until she retired in the mid 1980’s. Jessamine was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Eva Trumbo; husband, Roscoe Wilson; brother, Robert Trumbo Jr. and sister, Alice Rebecca Guth. She is survived by her sons, Larry Wilson and Robert D. Wilson; daughter, Darlene M. Wilson; 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Jessamine was an active member of Centerville United Methodist Church for nearly 70 years. She was involved in various professional and business women’s associations, the Grandmother’s Club and she enjoyed traveling and her family. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 31, 2006 at 10:00 AM at Centerville United Methodist Church, 63 E. Franklin St. with Pastor Steven Fewell officiating. Burial in Centerville Cemetery. Family will receive friends Tuesday from 6-8:00 PM at the Routsong Funeral Home, 81 N. Main St. Centerville.
