Jessie Eddythe Rankin

RANKIN, Jessie Eddythe, “Jay” age 83, of Kettering passed away Saturday, September 10, 2005 at Hospice of Dayton. Jay attended Steele High School and graduated in Oak Park, IL and attended Stephens College. She was an avid gardener and a lover of good food, family, friends and conversation. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Clarissa Harrison; 4 sisters, Lena, Irene, Judy and Joyce; and 2 brothers, Herbert and Raymond. Jay is survived by her loving husband, Willard C. Rankin; 1 daughter, Kristina; 2 sons, Clifford, Jeffrey and wife, Lana; 3 grandchildren, Neal, Keith and Kelsey; and sister, Betty McCarty of Sacramento, CA. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 13, 2005 at 1:00 PM at the Routsong Funeral Home, 6 Oakwood Ave. at Irving with Dr. Rodney Kennedy officiating. Burial in Woodland Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.
