Joan Regina Pohl

POHL, Joan Regina Vogel, age 88, of Henderson, NV passed away on November 18, 2019 in Fishers, IN. Joan was born on November 15, 1931 in Dayton, OH to the late Clarence W. and Marie H. Vogel.

She graduated from Parker Co-Op in 1949. Joan was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who tirelessly put others before herself. It was her unique gift to be able to express the worth each person had in her heart with deep genuine laughter and the utmost attention. She was a joy and the center of every family gathering. Joan held many interesting positions through the years which were all plied to her number one overarching achievement-the nurturing and raising of her eight children.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Mary Kay Francis, Carolyn Mary Russo; brother, Dr. James William Vogel and his former wife, Margie (Suman).

Joan is survived by her husband of over 69 years, Joseph E. Pohl; children, Angi Bordigon, Bob Pohl, Joe Pohl, Bill Pohl, John Pohl, Mary Lynn Ross, Lisa Bollinger, Jim Pohl; brother, Paul Vogel; brother-in-law, Joe Russo; 19 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11am on Saturday, November 23 at Church of the Incarnation, 55 Williamsburg Ln, Dayton, OH 45459. A visitation will begin one hour prior at the church. Burial in Heritage Hills Memory Gardens. Condolences may be shared with the family at www.routsong.com.
