PIETRZAK, Joe Paul, age 100, of Kettering, passed away on Sunday, November 18, 2018. Joe was born to the late John and Katherine Pietrzak in Dayton, OH on November 28, 1917.
Joe was in Italy, England, and South Africa during his career as a Captain in the US Army during WWII. He started in the drawing department at General Motors and retired 45 years later as a Staff Engineer. Joe loved to build things and play golf.
He was preceded in death by his siblings, John, Stan, Bob, Sophia, Anne, Sister Celine. Joe is survived by his loving wife of 71 years, Stella (Klep); son, Joseph Pietrzak; grandchildren, Erica Relois Martinez, Christopher Joseph Pietrzak; great-grandchild, Dezi Martinez; sister, Jean Luthman; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Family will greet friends 10:30-11:30am Saturday, November 24 at St. Adalbert Church, 1511 Valley St, Dayton. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11:30am. Burial in Calvary Cemetery.
