After college, he was a member of many accomplished softball teams, including his favorite team, “Bystrek’s”. John played baseball and softball throughout his life and went on to play softball in the US Senior Olympics. His love of the game of baseball also took him to three World Series games. In his free time, John could be found tinkering with just about anything. John loved to spend time with his family, especially his grandchildren, as his favorite title in life was “Papa”.
