John C Peters

PETERS, John C., age 90, of Bellbrook formerly of Destin, FL passed away Sunday, July 9, 2006 at the Suites of Walnut Creek. John was a Veteran of WWII Army Air Corps. He retired as manager of Rubensteins’s Department Store after more than 55 years of services. John was past Commander of Post #5 of the American Legion and member of the Auxiliary of the Highway Patrol. He was preceded in death by his 2 wives, Helen Peters and Alma Simpson Peters; 2 sisters, Anne Albright and Mary Peters; brother, Frank Peters and parents, John and Anna Peters. John is survived by his 2 sons, John S. (Melanie) Peters of New Carlisle, OH and Michael J. (Cindy) Peters of Bellbrook, OH; 2 grandchildren, Tyler and Megan Peters; sister, Margaret (Virgil) Crabtree of Beavercreek, OH and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held Wednesday, July 12, 2006 at 5:00 PM at the Routsong Funeral Home, 81 N. Main St., Centerville. Family will receive friends from 4-5:00 PM prior to the service.
