John Clay Hinch, Jr.

”Peanut”, age 52, of Dayton passed away peacefully in his home on February 7, 2005 after a valiant and courageous fight against cancer. He was born on May 20, 1952 in Dayton OH., the son of John and Dolores Hinch of Dayton. John was a journeyman pressman at Brown and Kroger Printing for 31 years. A member of G.C.I.U. Local #508 and the Loyal Order of Moose #1645 in Miamisburg. John was preceded in death by his father John and sister, Jacqueline Hinch-Black. He is survived by his loving wife of 20 plus years, Verda Rae Woolery-Hinch; 6 caring children, Wendy Girardot-Chambers, Ron Girardot and wife, Pam, Gary Girardot and wife, Lori, John Hinch III and wife, Christy, Dan Hinch and wife, Johanna and Chris Hinch and wife, Jennifer; honorary son, Dan Johnson and wife, Jennifer; proud grandpa to 14 grandchildren, Dymond Wittman, Dessi Wittman, Sheldon Chambers, Nicholas Chambers, Britney Herick, Allisten Carpenter, Jonathan Girardot, Alexander Girardot, Ryan Girardot, Rachel Girardot, Vincent Boyer, Taylor Denlinger, Dillon Hinch, and Logan Hinch; sister, Linda and her husband, David Pryor; nephews, David and William Pryor; and nieces, Amber and Anhyaih Black. John will be deeply missed by a host of very close friends and family. This blessed man and his family would like to thank everyone for their tremendous support during his illness. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Sunday, February 13, 2005 at the Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering with Daryll Engle and Rev. Don Payne officiating. Family will receive friends from 5-8:00 PM Saturday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 40 S.
