age 78, of Oakwood, passed away on Friday, January 18, 2002. Jack attended Cornell University and after serving as a pilot in the Naval Air Corps during World War II, completed his education at Miami University where he was a member of Sigma Nu fraternity. He was founder of Scotch Cleaners in Dayton, Ohio, and devoted 60 years to the dry cleaning industry. He also served the Marriott Hotel for 20 years. Jack was a member of Fairmont Presbyterian Church, St. John's Lodge F & AM #13, Scottish Rite, Antioch Temple, and the Dayton Kiwanis Club for 51 years as well as belonging to the Downtown YMCA for 70 years. He was past President of the Miami Valley Cleaners Guild and a past Trustee of the Ohio State Cleaners Association. Jack's laughter and fun-loving personality will be sadly missed by his wife, Myrtle B. Frech; 2 sons, David S. and his wife, Susan and Daniel A., all of Dayton; sister, Doris E. Seidenschmidt of Dayton; and many nieces, nephews and friends. Service will be held at Woodland Mausoleum, Thursday, January 24, 2002, at 2:00 PM, Dr. Robert Wade officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jack's memory to the Shriners' Temple Building Fund, 107 East First Street, Dayton, Ohio, 45402.
