John Gerald "Jerry" Glaser

John Gerald “Jerry” Glaser, age 87, of Huber Heights, OH passed away on September 23, 2024. He attended Kiser High School and then joined the United States Marine Corps where he served his country from 1954-1957. Upon leaving the service, he started his career in the Tool and Die industry. He was the owner and President of Mar-Vel Tool Company until his passing. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Joseph and Marvel Glaser; sister, Jacqueline Uhrig; wife, Patricia Elaine Glaser; and the mother of his children, Shirley Ann Glaser. 

Jerry is survived by his children, Tamara Lynn Arnwine, Kimberly Dee Miller, Brett Rainey Glaser (Kim), and Jillian Glaser–Hauer; step-daughter, Diana Zona and family; grandchildren, Donita, Danny, Amber, Stefanie, Aaron, Tiffani, Holli, Karrie, Elise, and Jordan; 15 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great- grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 4:00PM to 7:00PM Sunday, September 29, 2024 at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering, OH 45429. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00AM on Monday September 30, 2024 also at the funeral home. John will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery where Marine Corps military honors will be rendered.
