age 82, of Kettering, died Monday, Oct. 2, 2000. He was a graduate of Potomac State College and New York University and retired from Winters National Bank. Jack was a member of Good Shephard Lutheran Church, Rock Moriah Lodge #740 F&AM, Tau Chapter 239 R.A.M., the Charles I. Lathrem Senior Center, the Hithergreen Senior Center in Centerville and was active in the community. Preceded in death by his wife, Mae (Burton) Monnett. Survived by devoted friend, Frances Sortman of Kettering; a son, John (Anna Jones) Monnett of Centerville; a daughter, Claudia (Joe) Fisher of Vero Beach, FL; and 4 grandchildren, Kim (Dave) White of Des Moines, IA, John Paul Monnett of Atlanta, GA and Kevin and Erin Monnett. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Friday in the Good Shephard Lutheran Church. Burial in David's Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-8:00 P.M., Thursday in the Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering with Masonic services at 7:45 P.M.
