WEBER, John "Jack" R., age 84, of Kettering, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 30, 2013 at Sycamore Glen Health Center. Jack was a toolmaker and retired from H&H Tool.
He was born on January 23, 1929 to the late Michael and Rosalie (Goecke) Weber in Dayton, OH. Jack was one of the founders of the Falcon Club in Dayton and an avid sportsman who enjoyed fast pitch softball, bowling, fishing, hunting and golf and yet was gentle enough to enjoy flower gardening.
He was preceded in death by his son, Dusty Weber; sister, Delores Murphy and brothers, Eugene, Donald and Carly.
Jack is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Janice; sons, Rick (Jackie) and Matt (Deanne) Weber; daughter, Amy (Ed) Rammel; brothers, Dan and Mike; sister Anita (Dean) Vetter. He was a wonderful husband, father, and grand-father of Ben, George, Charles, Lucy, Sam (Shannon) Ratermann, Jill (Richard) Henry, Michael, Eli, Zach, and Emma; great-grandchildren, Keaton, Baron, Orson, Alex, and Cassie.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made for research through the Alzheimer's Association, 31 W. Whipp Rd. Centerville, OH 45459.
The family will greet friends for a visitation from 6:00-8:00pm on Monday, September 2, 2013 at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd. Kettering.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30am on Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at Ascension Catholic Church, 2025 Woodman Dr. Kettering, OH.
