John Randal "Jack" Huntsberger

HUNTSBERGER, John "Jack" Randal, age 89 of Aurora, OH, formerly of Oakwood, OH, passed away on Monday, May 21, 2018. Jack was born on January 27, 1929 to the late Randal and Marie (Carey) Huntsberger in Dayton, OH. He was a class of 1947 graduate of Chaminade High School. Jack served in the US Air Force in Tokyo, Japan, where he met his wife Taeko. He worked for the NCR Corporation for over 30 years. Jack, along with his wife, were members of the Japanese American Citizens League (JACL), lifelong active members of Holy Angels Church, and huge fans of the University of Dayton, especially the football and basketball teams. Jack was an avid fan of Reds baseball, and enjoyed traveling all over the world; but most of all, he loved spending time with his family. Jack is now reunited with his loving wife of 50 years, Taeko Ty (Yamada). He is survived by his daughter, Kathryn (Paul) Schiffer and granddaughters, Kelsey and Kara. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, May 25, 2018 at Holy Angels Catholic Church, 218 K Street, Dayton, at 10:30am. Family will receive friends from 6-8pm on Thursday, May 24, 2018 at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Road, Kettering. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Crossroads Hospice, 3743 Boettler Oaks Dr., Suite E, Uniontown, OH 44685. The family would like to thank Crossroads Hospice for all the support and care they gave Jack.
