John Raymond Hughes

HUGHES, John Raymond, age 68, of Centerville, OH, passed away on Monday, July 13, 2015. John was born on May 18, 1947 in Dayton, OH to the late John B. and Shirley R. (nee Hoben) Hughes. He graduated from Colonel White H.S and received his Bachelor's Degree in Pulp and Paper from Miami University. John had a long career working for Ford, General Motors, Miami Paper, and retiring after 23 years of service from the Mead Corp. After retirement, he owned multiple businesses. He was a long time member of Church of the Incarnation. John is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Larry Hughes. He is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Teresa; sons, John (Leslie), Kevin, Josh, Zach, and Benji Hughes; grandchildren, Lia and Jordan; sisters, Kathleen (Gene) Kramer and Mary Beth (Dana) Harrod; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to Ross Heart Hospital for their dedication to John. Family will greet friends from 6:00-8:00pm on Thursday, July 16, 2015 at Routsong Funeral Home, 81 N. Main St. Centerville, OH. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00am on Friday, July 17, 2015 at Church of the Incarnation, 7415 Far Hills Ave. Centerville, OH. Burial will be held at Calvary Cemetery.
