John Wilbert Pratt

PRATT, John W., age 81, of Dayton, passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2005 at Kettering Medical Center. John was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church and served in the United States Army during WWII. John was active in the Resident Home Association, MRDD, and Partners in Community Living. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Naomi Jeane, his parents John D. and Marie Pratt and brother, Donald Pratt. John is survived by his loving wife, Virginia; children, Cathy (John) Payne of Miamisburg, Mary Ann (Tom) Shultz of Kettering, Susan Lynn also of Kettering, Ann (Steve) Schulte of Beavercreek, Kathy (Chuck) Cambria of Centerville, Carolyn Strausburg also of Centerville, Rick (Zita) Gibbs of Kettering, Bob (Amy) Gibbs of Overland Park, KS, and Patty (Tom) Sableski of Dayton; 21 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Prayers will be held at 9:15 A.M. at the funeral home on Saturday. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, 10:00 AM, June 4, 2005 at St. Charles Borromeo Church. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Family will receive friends Friday evening from 5-8:00 PM at the Routsong Funeral Home, 81 N. Main St., Centerville. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Partners in Community Living, 1651 Needmore Drive, Dayton, OH 45414.
