John William Reed

REED, John William, age 90, of Kettering passed away Monday, March 12, 2007. He was born in Dayton, OH and graduated from Steele High School and Dennison University. He served in the United States Marines during WWII and retired from Standard Register. He was a member of the First Lutheran Church and Dayton Country Club. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Margaret Reed and his wife of 40 years, Bettie. He is survived by his son, John Reed Jr. and sister, Nancy Reed. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 14, 2007 at 11:00AM at the Woodland Mausoleum chapel, 118 Woodland Ave., Dayton with Pastor Richard Gilbertson officiating.
