age 26, of Kettering, died unexpectedly at the U.S. Naval Hospital in 29 Palms, CA on February 4, 2002. Johnathon grew up in Waynesville, OH. He joined the Marine Corps. in 1995 and became a Radar Technician. Johnathon is survived by his wife, Aretha, whom he married in 1995. They have 4 children, Mercedez, age 6, Khalin, age 4, Maylee, age 3 and Aneminee, age 23 months. He is also survived by his father and stepmother, Wally and Sheila Patton of Oregonia; mother and stepfather, Kristy and Mike Turner of Harveysburg; 6 brothers, Benjamin Patton, Matthew and Daniel Mumma, Eric and Michael Mayleben and Brew Turner; father and mother-in-law, Milton and Caridad Jones; sister-in-law, Natasha Jones; and a host of other beloved members and friends too numerous to mention. Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM, Monday, Feb. 11, 2002 at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering. The family will greet friends from 11:00-1:00 in the funeral home prior to the services. Burial in Miami Cemetery, Waynesville.
