MILLER, Jon Elwood, age 73 of Washington Twp., passed away on July 20, 2010. Born in Saginaw, MI, Jon graduated from Arthur Hill H.S., received his BS in engineering from Michigan Technological University, did graduate study at Michigan Tech and Ohio State and earned his JD degree from the University of Baltimore. He retired from Delco Chassis Division of General Motors as Chief Engineer and later became an adjunct professor at Wright State University. In 1996, he founded the National Composite Center in Kettering and was its first Executive Director. Jon was a witty, generous and musically talented man who was dedicated to his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Anson and Hildreth Miller and brother Robert Miller. Jon is survived by his loving wife of 47 years Helen; daughter Michele Miller; daughter and son-in-law Patricia and Gregory Steis; grandson Sean MacGregor Steis; brother and sister-in-law James and Doris Miller; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at Routsong Funeral Home, 81 N Main St., Centerville, OH at 11:00AM on Monday, July 26, 2010. Visitation will take place Sunday, July 25, 2010 at the funeral home from 4:00PM to 7:00PM.
