Joseph A. Ryan "Joe"

RYAN, Joseph A. “Joe” age 78, of Oakwood, formerly of Centerville, OH, passed away Saturday, November 19, 2005. Joe was a current member of Holy Angels Catholic Church and was formerly a longtime member of The Church of the Incarnation. In 1950 he graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a BBA in Accounting and was a member of Phi Kappa Fraternity and the Newman Club. Joe was a member of Hithergreen Senior Center, the Knights of Columbus and volunteered at The Church of the Incarnation. He retired after 32 years as a Pension Administrator and Assistant Corporate Secretary from Dayco. Joe was preceded in death in 1960 by his first wife, Anna Mae Ryan (nee Ricke), and in 1995 by his second wife, Anita Ryan ( nee LeTang); children, Ricky and Julie in 1960, and sister, Dorothy Lonergan in 2004. He is survived by his children, Cheryl (Robert) Marcel of Buffalo, NY, Linda (Kevin) Rush of Dallas, TX, Jo Ann (Kenneth) Botts of Germantown, Jeannie A. (William) Rieger of Oakwood, Anita Lee (Tyler) Scott of Cincinnati, Joseph D. Holtvogt of New Carisle, Neal D. (Annette) Holtvogt of Centerville, Joseph Allen Ryan of Kettering and Kevin M. (Kimberly) Ryan of Beavercreek; 25 grandchildren; his twin brother, John W. Ryan; brother-in-law, Paul Le Tang and numerous nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, November 23, 2005 at Holy Angels Church, 218 K St., Dayton. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Family will receive friends, Tuesday from 4-8:00 PM at the Routsong Funeral Home, 6 Oakwood Ave. at Irving Ave. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Hithergreen Senior Center of Centerville, 5900 Hithergreen Dr., Washington Twp.
