FACKLER, Joseph Anthony, age 63, of Centerville, passed away on Monday, August 31, 2015. He was born on April 8, 1952 in Dayton to the late Richard Sr. and Martha Jane Fackler.
Joseph graduated from Chaminade High School in 1971 and attended Wright State University. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and worked as a tool and die maker for many years until his retirement from Liteflex. Joseph enjoyed hunting, fishing and was an avid outdoorsman.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Richard Jr. and Gregory; and brother-in-law, Thomas L. Wieland. Joseph is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Susan Fackler; son, Joseph Robert Fackler; brothers, David (Judy), Daniel (Sharon), Michael (Marta), and John (Ellen) Fackler; sisters, Diane (Bernard) Beyer, Sister Yvonne Fackler, and Marian (William) Parkins; sister-in-law, Cheryl Wieland; mother-in-law, Helen Wieland; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will greet friends from 5:00-8:00pm on Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00pm on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church, 3033 Far Hills Ave., Kettering.
