Joseph Edward Glynn

GLYNN, Joseph Edward, age 73, of Kettering, passed away on Monday, May 2, 2011. Born June 8, 1937 to William F. Glynn and Adel Catherine Kratz. Preceded in death by his parents; wife Nancy; 3 brothers, Paul, Bill and Mike and sister, Adel Hughes. He is survived by 2 sisters; Catherine Gabriel and Louise Espy. Sons David (Vicki), John (Tammy); daughters Gina Glynn, Cori (Brian) Martin, and very special daughter Vicki; and several grandchildren; Elizabeth Hopper, Virginia and Teresa Oliss, Taylor and Nick Glynn, Marissa and Will Martin, Jake, Chris and Drew Glynn, and Step Granddaughter Claudia Van Zant. Joe, an army veteran, graduated from Chaminade and the University of Dayton. He was devoted to his one love Nancy, his children and grandchildren. Joe was extremely dedicated to his Catholic faith. Words alone cannot describe his gentle manner, good nature and the kind and giving spirit he shared with all who know and met him. Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, May 6, 2011 at 10:30am at Church of the Ascension, 2025 Woodman Drive, Kettering. Family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00pm, on Thursday, May 5th at ROUTSONG FUNERAL HOME, 2100 E. Stroop Road, Kettering.
