Joseph F. Kiselica

December 31, 1941 — January 15, 2005

age 63, of Washington Township passed away Saturday, January 15, 2005. Since 1971, Joe was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church where he served as a Eucharistic minister for the homebound for many years. He received his Bachelor of Science in journalism, with a major in advertising and marketing from West Virginia University where he lettered in football for two years. Upon moving to Dayton, Joe worked for Channels 2, 7, and 22. After leaving Channel 7, Joe became founder/president of J. Kiselica Advertising Agency. Following this, Joe became Regional Vice President for Viacom Entertainment. He was an avid golfer and a member of the Miami Valley Golf Club. Joe served on the Alter High School Athletic Board, the local board of the American Heart Association and was chairman of the Affair of the Heart. He is survived by his parents, Joseph F. and Letha M. Kiselica of Natrona Heights, PA; his loving wife of 40 years, Linda Kiselica (Smith); son, Keith Kiselica of Atlanta, GA; daughter, Kristen (Christian) Carlson of Dayton; brother and sister-in-law, Lawrence (Kathy) Kiselica of Natrona Heights, PA; mother-in-law, Christina French Smith of Morgantown, WV. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, January 20, 2005 at 10:30 AM at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 4500 Ackerman Blvd., Kettering with Father Gerald Haemmerle officiating. Burial in David’s Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 5-8:00 PM Wednesday at the Routsong Funeral Home, 81 N. Main St. Centerville. In memory of Joe, contributions may be made to the Leukemia-Lymphoma Society, Southern Ohio Chapter, 4th and Race Tower, 105 West Fourth St., Cincinnati, OH 45202 or Tuberous Sclerosis Alliance, 801 Roeder Road, Suite 750, Silver Spring, MD 20905 or The Rothberg Institute For Childhood Diseases, 530 Whitfield Street, Guilford, CT, 06437.
