Joseph Fernandez

FERNANDEZ, Joseph, age 16, of Miamisburg, passed away on September 22, 2017. Joseph was born on May 22, 2001 in Huntington, NY to Juan Jose Fernandez and Ana Lucrecia Ferguson. He was a junior at Centerville High School where he had just joined the wrestling team and began weight lifting. Joseph loved playing video games, hanging with his friends, riding his bike, and had a love for animals - especially dogs. He enjoyed spending time with his family and going on family vacations to Florida, North Carolina, and New York. Joseph is preceded in death by his grandfather, Thomas Ferguson. And his cousin, Alejandro Rivera. He is survived by his mother, Ana Ferguson and step-father, Anthony Duran; sister, Pamela Fernandez; cousin, Nicole Ferguson; and grandparents, Ana Ferguson, Juan Fernandez, and Mina Melanson. A memorial gathering will take place from 3:00-8:00pm on Thursday, September 28, 2017 at Routsong Funeral Home, 81 N. Main St., Centerville.
