age 60, of Dayton, died unexpectedly Saturday, Nov. 25, 2000. He was a graduate of Fairview High in '58 and The Ohio State University in '63. Joe was a member of Emmanuel Catholic Church and retired from General Motors. He played third base for the Philadelphia Phillies ''AA'' baseball team and for many years coached FKAL Little League. Survived by his loving companion, Kathy Alcorn; a daughter and son-in-law, Emily and Tom Sederstrand of Kettering; a granddaughter, Charlotte; a son and his fiancee, Mark Balling and Kim Schaaf of Columbus; a brother and his wife, Bud and Jean Fisher of Florida; a sister, Mariella Campbell of Tipp City; and numerous nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 A.M., Thursday, at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 6245 Wilmington Pike, Centerville with Fr. John Turnbull officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4-8:00 P.M., Wednesday in the Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Road, Kettering. Contributions may be made in Joe's memory to the Women's Support Center, 1377 E. Stroop Rd., Suite 301, Kettering OH 45429.
