Josie Pyles

age 78, of Kettering, passed away Friday, January 9, 2004. She was the former owner of Glamour Beauty Shop on Fifth Street. Maxine was a member of Linden Ave. Baptist Church. Preceded in death by her husband, Dennie G. Pyles; 3 sisters, Mary Roberts, Lola M. Turpin and Bannie Lee Renaker; and 2 brothers, Bill and Paul Garner. Survived by her 3 daughters; Barbara Butcher, Sallie Spicer, and Shirley Darling; son, Dennis Pyles; 8 grandchildren, Nichole Deschapelles, Michael Bumgardner, Philip Spicer, Elizabeth Lafferty, Joseph Newman, Jason Newman, Jonathan Pyles and Daniel Pyles; 2 great grandchildren, Logan and Travis Lafferty; and brother, Joseph M. Garner. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, at the Lake Cumberland Funeral Home in Somerset, KY, with visitation one hour prior to the service with Rev. J. S. New officiating. Burial in White Oak Cemetery in Nancy, KY. The family will greet friends from 6-8:00 PM, Monday, at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E.
