FRICKE, Juanita, (nee Shuey), age 88 of Dayton, passed away Thursday, January 12, 2006 at Lincoln Park Manor. Juanita was a longtime member of St. Albert the Great Church. She was also a member of Walnut Grove Country Club for over 40 years, where she and her husband were avid golfers. She was a volunteer at the Kettering Medical Center patient library for over 18 years. She was a 1935 graduate of Julienne High School and a graduate of Miami-Jacobs College. Early in her married life, Juanita worked as a legal secretary for several different law firms. Juanita was preceded in death by her husband, Edward; parents, Earl and Emma Shuey; brother, Earl Shuey; infant sister, Norma and her son-in-law, Daniel Wurst. She is survived by her son, Dennis (Aida) Fricke of St. Thomas, Virgin Islands; and daughters, Diane Wurst, of Dayton and Nancy (Jim) Emmons of Dallas, TX; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sister, Edith Parent; brother, Eugene (Joan) Shuey and other special family members, Joan Fricke, Cheryl Brennan and numerous nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, January 18, 2006 at 12noon at St. Albert the Great Church with Father James Manning officiating. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery immediately following the mass. Juanita’s family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 5-7:00PM at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Memorial and Honor Program, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1905.
